FAQ

Are the properties offered under your tokenization real houses or virtual houses?
keyboard_arrow_down

Houses offered through Landshare’s tokenization process are tangible, real world properties – not virtual or metaverse housing.

How can a house be transformed into a crypto token?
keyboard_arrow_down

In order to represent ownership of a property on the blockchain with tokens, our properties go through a process called Asset Tokenization.

What is Asset Tokenization and how does it work?
keyboard_arrow_down

‍Asset tokenization is the process by which the ownership of a real estate asset is represented by tokens.

The real estate asset is held by a company whose ownership shares are represented by tokens on the blockchain. By holding these tokens, you become a co-owner of company and by extension the asset itself. Tokens are legally equivalent to traditional ownership units, meaning you gain all rights of a shareholder or member outlined in each property’s operating agreement.

The Landshare RWA Token is an on-chain representation of all Landshare real estate assets. By holding the token, you benefit from appreciation and cash flow from the assets.

How do I buy RWA Tokens?
keyboard_arrow_down

To get started, create and account and complete the KYC process on the Landshare Dashboard at https://dashboard.landshare.io. Once approved, you will be able to purchase RWA Tokens on the dashboard or the RWA page on the Landshare App.

What happens if I lose my wallet?
keyboard_arrow_down

RWA Tokens are able to be recovered in the event you lose your wallet due to the nature of our Asset Tokenization process. If you ever lose your wallet, you can simply re-KYC with another wallet and be re-issued the lost tokens. Tokenization is meant to be a secure and safe way to invest in real estate.

NOTE: If tokens are sold from your wallet, the Landshare team will have no way to retrieve them. If you do not intend to trade tokens, it is advised to set your secondary limit on the dashboard to 0.

Are RWA Tokens considered securities?
keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, RWA Tokens are considered securities. KYC is required to purchase and certain geographic restrictions apply.

How do RWA Token Holders earn from the properties?
keyboard_arrow_down

Net cash flows and capital appreciation from properties are reflected in the value of the RWA Token. The current value can be viewed on the RWA page of the Landshare App and exchanged for this price.

How do I sell or buy RWA Tokens after the initial offering?
keyboard_arrow_down

For instant liquidity you can trade Asset Tokens on DS Swap. For larger trades, please utilize our OTC trading feature. The OTC direct trading prices are determined by the sole discretion of Landshare, and Landshare reserves the right to decline requests for any reason.

What happens if a tenant doesn’t pay rent or property is vacant?
keyboard_arrow_down

If a tenant does not pay rent on time, rental yields may be delayed until receiving payment from the tenant. In the case a property becomes vacant, the Landshare team will attempt to line up a new tenant prior to the existing tenant leaving. If no tenant is found for an extended period of time Landshare may issue Rental Vouchers to cover the part of the lost rental income.

What are Landshare real estate NFTs?
keyboard_arrow_down

Landshare Real Estate NFTs are stylized 3D NFT models of the real-world properties sold on Landshare’s platform. The NFTs are used to multiply the yields of the real estate asset by granting additional Landshare Token rewards.

What happens if Landshare goes out of business?
keyboard_arrow_down
